Changing Lives Together

Our collective efforts create meaningful change for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

QESST

Quality Enhancement Standards & Support Training (QESST) responds to an emerging philosophy for system change within emergency assistance and prevention organizations. QESST is an accreditation process that encourages an emphasis on accountability, requiring organizations that voluntarily participate to allocate resources towards building capacity that meets the unique needs of under-served individuals within communities. Participating organizations are expected to demonstrate efficient and effective use of personnel and donated funds, while documenting impact and positive outcomes to ensure that funding levels remain consistent. Contributors and donors seek assurance that their dollars are directly resulting in the delivery of support to under-served individuals in their community; QESST helps organizations build systems that can consistently provide that assurance.

PROJECT PROMISE

Bringing hope to homeless children through collaborative services and advocacy

GEORGIA ALWAYS PROVIDES

Providing support for homeless or at-risk individuals and families who do not meet the criteria for other available programs in their immediate area. GAEH's GAP program provides emergency financial assistance for those who simply need temporary relief to reach a state of greater housing stability. This program provides support including temporary hotel stays to provide clients with a safe place to land until permanent or transitional housing is available, and/or providing security deposits to clients (with sufficient income) who are ready to access permanent housing. At its core, the GAP Program is designed to return clients to stable housing within 30 days, reducing the community's financial burden significantly. Donating via the form below will help GAEH ensure that no individual in Georgia goes without housing due to a lack of immediately available funds.
